We spent some time in Cleveland last month. It was fun catching up with lots of family and friends. Here are some highlights of our trip…
Hopefully Ellie will appreciate these some day. Get a load of those chunky legs!

Our new house has a great back yard. It was a big selling point for us…and the views of the mountains are an added bonus. Ellie and the dogs love it.

I find that I take a lot of photos while Ellie is sitting at the kitchen table. It’s one of the few times she is sitting still. And she is obviously really happy there.

The girl loves to eat. That’s that. Jonny is worried she will be a “chunky” child when she gets older. I assure him that her love of food is a good thing. It’s not like she’s eating cupcakes every day.
Spaghetti is not very easy to eat.

I love pesto!

We spent almost 2 weeks visiting our friends in Sun Valley. It was great catching up with everyone. Grandpa TJ flew out from Ohio and we got to spend some time with Aunts Thomasa and Claire. We also celebrated Ellie’s first birthday with a double birthday party. Her friend, Sophie, turned one the day before she did. We had a lunchtime BBQ in the park for about 60 people. Here are some of the highlights….

It might look like we put some fancy baby mousse in Ellie’s hair. The fact is, since she uses her hands instead of utensils, her hands are often covered with food. She likes to run them through her hair to create this baby rocker look. We just go with it.
Finally. The weather has been beautiful, if not a little hot, but I hear it will only get hotter. We are in the high desert after all. Hope you are all enjoying the start of summer!

My mom says my hair is pretty unruly so she decided to do something about it. What do you think?
